Herdy from the hilltop,
a new-born baby lamb.
So unsteady on her feet,
shall we put her in a pram?
Herdy from the hilltop,
trips and trots and tumbles,
nibbles at the green grass
until her tummy rumbles.
Herdy from the hilltop,
chasing bunny rabbits;
wonders what they’re all about,
they have such funny habits.
Herdy from the hilltop,
playing in the sun,
skips across the far field
until the day is done.
Herdy from the hilltop,
her pink ears at attention.
She jumps for very fun and joy,
she’s a baa-ootiful invention!
